Rivers and waterfalls

 The Drôme River is just 5 km from Camping les 4 Saisons. You can walk along it, or swim in it. For good swimming spots, we recommend going up the Drôme towards Die. 

A canoe trip on the Drôme with the whole family is also highly recommended.

The Gare des Ramières is ideal for young and old. Discover this nature reserve through fun games, on foot or by bike, with a guide or free.

The Chute de la Druise waterfall offers a breathtaking spectacle thanks to the water cascading down from 72 metres, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the Vercors. Accessible by a path from the village of Ansage, it offers you a cooling oasis during the summer heat.

The Gorges d'Omblèze offer beautiful walks amid a natural area consisting of gorges and waterfalls (such as the Druise waterfall), nice and refreshing in summer.

The villages and monuments

Walking through the narrow streets of Grâne, don't miss the 15th-century Gothic bell tower, which dominates the village from the top of its 36 metres.

Accessible on foot from Camping les 4 Saisons. A walk is organised on Thursday mornings.

Up the heights with the Tour de Crest. It is the highest keep in France at 52 metres. The Tour de Crest is the remains of a medieval castle, the oldest parts of which date from the 12th century.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The village of Mirmande is a typical high-altitude village in the Drôme. Mirmande, a botanical village, is one of the most beautiful villages in France. 

The village of Marsanne overlooks a wide panorama stretching from the borders of the Rhône Valley to the peaks of the southern Pre-Alps (Les Trois Becs, Mont Ventoux).

The vast Forêt de Marsanne (110 hectares) is ideal for forest walks or family tree-climbing.
